The People’s Collection (2025-ongoing)
The People’s Collection is a virtual archive of personal mementos, family heirlooms, creative works, and more. This iteration of the collection was conceived of during 2024-early 202, during post conversations with artists and arts administrators about the issues with museum’s owning other people’s ancestral objects. The People’s Collection was created to serve as a archive for individuals to share objects from their lives that they cherish, hold memory, bring awareness to, or contain a connection to.
The collection is inspired by many organizations, creatives, and projects throughout history, and presumably many to come in the future. The driving principle of the collection, is to remain within the hands of the people; prioritizing the collections of marginalized identities. As such, the archiving process and the very structure of the collection itself, including its operations, are determined by the community that contribute to the collection.
The People’s Collection is currently in the creation stage and will soon be available to all who align with the collection’s purpose and current consensus.

Beyond Granite – Pulling Together Exhibition (2023)
Exhibition Team Manager
Pulling Together is the first-ever curated public art exhibition on the National Mall. The exhibition was co-curated by Paul Farber, co-creator of Monument Lab, and Pulitzer Prize winning writer, scholar, professor and activist Salamishah Tillet. Each of the six participating artists answered the question, “what stories remain untold on the National Mall?”
As one of the exhibition team managers for this pilot exhibition, I served as a primary point of contact and managed the day-to-day exhibition, interpretation and visitor service operations. I led and coordinated a large team of exhibition staff, including students, artists, and educators.

City of Atlanta’s Public Art Program – Public Art Bike Tour (2016)
Outreach Specialist
In partnership with Atlanta Streets Alive, the City of Atlanta’s Public Art Program led a bike tour of various public artworks on a route through the West End. Works include pieces from the City of Atlanta’s collection, and various Atlanta BeltLine and Living Walls, the City Speaks murals. The tour stretched from Gordon White Park in the West End, down Ralph David Abernathy Blvd to Grant Park, Atlanta. My colleague discussed works from the City of Atlanta’s public art collection while I informed participants of details from works created by the Living Walls, the City Speaks conferences. As the tour concluded, participants were welcomed to visit artist David Landis, in his Sculpture Studio, for a special insiders tour.
My role with this event included coordinating the route and stops and acting as the tour guide and information specialist for the non-city sponsored art.

Artspace’s Youth Outreach Art Program – Brentwood Boys & Girls Club Mural (2011)
Program and Teaching Artist Assistant
I assisted teaching artists Georges Le Chevallier & Garrett Scales by guiding and supporting youth artists during an outreach program. This project gave young creatives exposure to new art techniques such as stenciling, and provided them with a space to grow their creative voices. The culmination of the project was a large-scale mural (16’x8′) with each student’s individual wooden box, affixed to a large wooden board, each depicting the artists’ portrait. Inside each box were mementos or stories from the artists about their lives, their goals, and their interests. Watch the project recap video.
